【Abstract】 Acrylic acid, acrylic resin, styrene and methyl methacrylate are used as the main monomers. The acrylate resin is synthesized by solution polymerization and modified by epoxy resin. The modified aqueous acrylic resin and amino resin are obtained. Curing produces acrylate resin coatings. The influence of various factors on product performance was explored and the problem of viscosity peaks when water-diluted resins were diluted with water was solved. The results showed that the solvent ratio was 1:(0.9~1.4), the amount of isobornyl methacrylate monomer was about 10%, and the amount of molecular weight regulator, mercaptoethanol, was 2% to 2.5%, which could avoid the occurrence of water-reducible viscosity peaks. . The content of 20% to 30% of E-20 modified waterborne acrylate resin and amino resin ratio of 1:0.6, high temperature baking at 180 °C for 15 min, can get a better performance of glass coating products .
